For the female advert we used similiar shots to the male advert, these including , close up, mid shot, extreme close up and low angle shot. We used these because like when researching for the male perfume adverts we found the same conventional shots are used for female products. They are used frequently throughout the advert because it makes the audience focus on the product and the character.
We had slow music to this advert and editing our shots so they were slowly paced with the music. The advert is based on waking up in the morning and making youself look glamourous and adding the final touch at the end the perfume. Targeted at females we felt it was right to edit it to a slow pace and the women could take it what is happening in the advert and have to watch it all to understand what is being advertised, as th emise en scene contains many female products such as shoes and make up etc. As we edited it to a slow pace, the continutity of the advert had toflows perfectly so this took us a while to cut each shot so that it linked to the next with out it jumping. We also had to change the pace of some of the shots by useing the the speed tool to make some shots as fast as the next so that each shots leads onto the next. This creates the impresion out advert is telling a story making it differs from our male advert which is fast pace editing and random shots of only about 2 seconds throught the advert :)

Filming
After getting our grades on the female advert we realised we did not have a lot of improvements to make which we were quite please with.
One of the things we had to do was to add a voice over of the words 'Amo tu vida' on the last frame of the advert. We again used the same voice that we used for the radio advert so that it all links together and we will upload this also tomorrow to see how it works and report back :)

Everything So Far..
Our planning and research for our media is now pretty much complete and we are now ready to start filming. This blog just clarifies our final ideas.
Product: Fragrance. Amo Tu Vida.
> Male Advert:
Audience: We are aiming our product towards young adult men aged, 18-25. The advert has to give a freash edgy look, so they are intrigued by the advert and want to buy the product.
Character: Kyle Gibson. We want him to give the image of class, and we have a few shots of him topless which will inspire the audience to want to be like him. We want the audience to want to have his whole image and know they will only achieve this if they wear our product. The girl will also appear in 2 quick shots, so they can associate both adverts together.
Costumes: We will have him in quite extreme costumes, such as black and white suit, topless shots and wild hair. This contrasts the basic white background he will be shot against.
Location: We are using a converted garage, which will be on a white background. Our mise en scene will include pool table, dice and money.
Music: We are using the track from freeplaymusic.com. Candyflip
Lighting: Dimmed and stobe lights to create a sexy atmosphere. The advert will have the black and white effect throughout.
> Female Advert:
Audience: Similar to our male advert the audience will be ages 18-25 but female.
Character: Arraminta Maloy. Her beauty and elegance will be used to portray this image of our fragrance. We want her personality to connect with the audience so they have a feeling of warmth towards her and inspire to look and be like her. Only being ablt to do this by wearing the perfume. Like the male advert, with an appearence of the other character, Kyle will also be shot in this advert.
Costumes: Minty will be dressed in glamourous outfits, such as prom dresses, sequin shorts and high heels, to really make and impact on the audience watching.
Location: This will be filmed in a luxurious bedroom, Mise en scene containg make up, straighteners, a car and feminine objects sich as flowers and rose petals.
Music: We are using the track from freeplaymusic.com. For Real Life
Lighting: Set in a bedroom, we are hoping to beable to achieve a warm orange glow from the wallpaper and furniture.
> Tv Sponsership Advert:
We will be sponsoring Americas next top model because the programme reflects what our product is, beauty, glamour and wealth.
Audience: People who watch Americas next top model, such as young female adults.
Character: Both Minty and Kyle will be shot together in this advert, a intimate atmosphere will be created.
Costumes: We have chosen to keep their costumes the same as what they wear in their main advert, so the audience can easily associate who they are.
Location: This will be set in modern, neautral decorated room.
Music: We will be using music we have made on garage band.
Lighting: Like the male advert lights will be dimmed to portray a passionate image.

Female Music
we looked at clasical music but we found that they were all to slow and almost sounded depressed, although we did like the first sone on this album because it sounds soft and elegant which portrays feminism, which works well for a female advert obviously but becuase it is quite slow and many the tones or hollow and low the could make advert boring and seem as though it drags on therefore we will have to look for different websites to try and find different websites and a different style of music.

Female Advert
I just saw this advert and i really like the music, i think it sounds really elegant and feminine, i dont like the idea of using lots of different characters because i think it would be more interesting to just focus on one but this advert has inspired me to think carefully about our location as this mise en scene and setting fits in well to the product.

Female Advert
I saw this advert last night, and loved it and thought to post a blog in hope people will comment me and help me on the question, if it is possible on the mac to do this effect of the same person mirrored more than once in the same shot?! The mise- en -scene is so simple but this effect makes the whole advert look so unique. Help on this would be appeciated! :)
I saw a link on a few peoples blog to "tubechop" so decided to have a look and found it quite good, it was clips from youtube but only the intersting bits! so i typed in perfume and came across this advert which i thought was quite good. The black and white theme fits into the conventions of a fragrance advert, i dont like the music used although the way it repeats back to the shot of her kissing the man is inspiring for our advert to perhaps keep coming back to one main shot?

Female Advert
I saw this advert last night on Tv and although it is advertising "Next" a clothing shop, i really like some aspects of the editing which have given me some inspirational ideas for our main female advert. I am still unsure if we are going to carry the same sexy upbeat theme from the male advert we are producing (such as the Paco Rabanne one) or doing something a little different and edgy. The start of the advert where the billboard can be seen with the name of "Next" looks really effective and think if we could achieve this in someway with the name of our fragrance ( which we still havent decided on!) would look really professional. The change from colour to black and white then back to colour looks good, although over use of this could make it look quite tacky. The music is also really feminine which appeals the female audience, i also heard from other media groups that music can now be copyrighted although i need to check this, because this could help us a fair bit with our advert! In one shot the screen is split into 3 different clips of the woman, which looks amazing although i tried to do this with my film opening in AS and on the mac it proved quite difficult to do, if not impossible :( In one scene there is the mise en scene of a studio with a camera and the background she is having her photo taken on looks really unique and edgy & if possible to find some wallpaper etc for a shot, i think it would look really effective. It then takes the theme of the studio to another level when the camera click is taken and a poloroid of the shot is then shown, if we could do this somehow i think it would work really well for our product. There are also really simple effects which look really effective, such a freezing the clip for a few seconds and quick paced editing of the character. I really think this is an successful advert for selling the product and would love to beable to produce something like this for our female advert.
